The year is 1982, Teen Angel's is in its third year of publication, putting out four to five issues a year. A few months have passed and the Gente of Aztlan have been anxiously waiting for Issue 11. It finally hits the streets and the cover art is firme! Featuring a homeboy and his hyna with a laid out 64 Impala in the foreground. The placas on the 64 read XPRS, referencing the popular, West Coast, "Oldies" radio station at the time. Inside the readers find a feature on XPRS 1090 AM and its popular DJ, Sean Green, who has collaborated with Teen Angel's to include "Dedications" from the magazine in its nightly broadcast. The number 1 Oldie at the time is "Don't Let No One Get You Down."
